What we collect when you enter, why, who it reaches, and your choices.
This Privacy Policy explains how White Rabbit Energy, Inc ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through the White Rabbit Energy Sweepstakes entry pages. It covers this sweepstakes only. Other websites we operate, including our online store, have their own policies.
Information we collect
When you submit an entry we collect: Full name, Email address, Phone number, Date of birth, ZIP code. We also record which store page you entered from, the date of your entry, that you agreed to the Official Rules and when, that you confirmed you are 21 or older, and whether you chose to receive marketing email or text messages.
Every one of these is entered by you. We do not buy personal information about you, and we do not combine your entry with data from other sources.
Information we do not collect
We do not place advertising or tracking cookies on the entry pages, and we do not use third-party advertising pixels there. We do not collect your precise location, your device identifiers, or your browsing activity on other websites.
We count page views so retail partners can see how often a code was scanned. Those counts record only which page was viewed, whether the visit came from a QR code or a direct link, and the date. They contain no name, no cookie, no device identifier and no IP address, and they cannot be traced back to a person.
Your IP address is read momentarily to limit how often the same visitor can trigger the counter, which stops an accidental loop from distorting a partner's numbers. It is held in memory for a few seconds and is never written to our database.
Why we use it
We use your information to run the sweepstakes: to check that you are eligible, to enforce the limit of one entry per person per day, to enter you into the correct drawing, to contact you if you win, and to arrange delivery of a prize.
If you ticked the marketing boxes, we also use your email address or phone number to send you marketing messages. That is optional. It is not a condition of entering or of winning, and you can withdraw it at any time without affecting your entry.
Who else sees it
Klaviyo, our email and text messaging provider, receives your name, email address, phone number and details of your entry so that confirmation and winner messages can be sent.
Supabase hosts our database and Vercel hosts the website. Both store data on our behalf under contract and do not use it for their own purposes.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
We may disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
We keep entries for the length of the promotion and for a reasonable period afterwards so that we can run the drawing, award prizes, and answer questions or disputes about the outcome. Winner records are kept longer where tax or other law requires it.
If you ask us to delete your information while a promotion is still open, we will do so, but this will withdraw you from the drawing — we cannot award a prize to an entry we no longer hold.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message, and stop marketing texts by replying STOP. Doing either does not remove your entry.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to obtain a copy of it, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. Residents of some states, including California, have additional rights and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
To make a request, contact us at support@whiterabbitenergy.com. We may need to ask you for information that lets us match your request to your entry.
Children
The sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 21 or older. The entry pages are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If you believe a minor has submitted an entry, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Entry data is held in an access-controlled database. Public visitors have no read access to entries at all; the entry form is the only path that can write one. Administrative access is limited to people who need it to operate the promotion.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
